Western Civilization, as manifest in the United States in 1776 was the greatest culture ever devised. After the elimination of Slavery in 1865, until the Progressive era starting in 1900, America was a society that believed in God, was comitted to high moral standards, had a stong work ethic, remained free from Government tyrany, fully activated the invisible hand of Capitalism, and implemented the scientific Method in the development of innavation. Once the Progressive Era Began, the erosion of Western Civilization was inevitable. The side into Socialism was unstoppable as long as people believed they could vote in wealth for themselves. We have created this Monastery to preserve this once great civilization by educating generations of Americans about its Founding Principles: Christianity: Christianity and a Belief in God provides the set of Morals necessary for a Civilization to be Civil. Christianity's moral code gave us the protestant work ethic, and an understanding of Equality. Freedom: God understands that free will is essential to determine if a soul is complying with a moral standard because it is good, or complying because of punishments. Only a free people can willingly provide the effort to increase it's own productivity. A slave culture will only provide enough productivity to remain free of punishment. Individualism: People must be self reliant. A community that depends on government to provide solutions to problems they could easilly solve themselves becomes dependant on Government and incapable of providing for themselves. Capitalism: Capitalism is an Economic stystem where prices are set by a free and open market. Companies survive because their Income exceeds their Expenses. Unfortunately, today, Americans derive more benefit from tax deductions and asset appreciation that they do through business income. Only under Capitalism can the invisible hand result in a more efficient allocation of resources. Government protections and regulations always favor large corporations over small companies and the consumer is forced to pay more in the end. Scientific Method: Science is about questions, not answers. The scientific method forces scientists to be critical of their assumptions. When the government tells you what the scientific solution is they are affirming their assumptions. Don't trust it. Quality Management: Dr. Demming developed Quality Managment while in Japan after WW2. The Japanese used his management philosophy (with the help of US Government regulatory attacks) to overtake the powerful US automobile manufacturing industry. The US Government liquidated GM in 2008. Innovation Process: We have developed an innovation process, when combined with Dr. Demming's philosophies, that takes advantage of employee insight, customer dissatisfaction and management vision to develop new products and services not yet considered in the marketplace. Critical Thought: Question everything. Stay curious. A person who is too lazy to politely disagree will make very little positive impact beyond their own labor. |
